A Beautiful Spring Wedding at Caswell House
There’s something truly magical about spring weddings in Oxfordshire, especially when the sun shines as perfectly as it did for this stunning March celebration at Caswell House. As a Witney wedding photographer, I’m lucky to work at some incredible venues — and Caswell House is always a favourite and had the opportunity to work with some other local suppliers at this wedding with Classic Flowers, Carley Cox Bridal Hair, May Williams Make Up, Littlebird Weddings and Hipster.
Sunshine, Spring Blooms & A Perfect Setting
The day couldn’t have been more perfect for this couple’s special day. The March weather gave us some clear blue skies, warm sunshine, and just enough of a springtime breeze to make the confetti shots feel straight out of a fairytale. Caswell House, with its charming 15th-century barns, landscaped gardens, and the signature stone walls, offered the perfect backdrop for natural, relaxed wedding photography once back from the church.
Capturing Moments, Not Poses
One of the things I love most about being a wedding photographer is the chance to capture those authentic, candid moments that happen in between the formalities. From the quiet smiles during the ceremony to the laughter on the lawn during the drinks reception, every moment told part of their story.
If you’re planning a wedding at Caswell House, you’ve chosen a venue that blends rustic charm with modern comfort. Whether you dream of an outdoor ceremony under the archway, or a cosy barn reception, the space offers endless photography opportunities.
For me, it’s always a pleasure returning here as (for a start) I only live fine minutes away, the staff are welcoming, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the scenery never disappoints — especially when spring brings clear skies and golden light, just like this beautiful March wedding.
